LONGTIME TV EXEC PENS “HOW-TO” BOOK

Hank Price, who retired last November from Hearst’s WVTM in Birmingham, AL after four years decided it’s time to share the wisdom he accumulated in more than three decades of television management experience.

Price, who  also headed up WBBM in Chicago and WXII in Winston-Salem, NC in the course of his career, has written “Leading Local Television, a guide to all aspects of the business from the perspective of the front office.

The 272-page paperback, published by Beaver’s Pond Press, is available on Amazon.

Price is now director of leadership development at the School of Journalism and New Media at the University of Mississippi.
