The stamp denoting Susan Zirinsky’s presence at the helm of CBS News continues to make marks.
Longtime senior producer Judy Tygard will succeed Zirinsky herself as executive producer of “48 Hours.”
Tygard will oversee all aspects of the crime-and-justice broadcast, Zirinsky said in naming her trusted lieutenant to the gig.
She knows her way around the broadcast.
Tygard joined the program a producer in Season 2; it’s now in its 32nd season.
She’s got some game going.
