WISCONSIN SPORTS VET SETS RETIREMENT

Veteran Madison, WI sportscaster Jay Wilson is starting to mark off the days on his calendar.

He’s leaving Morgan Murphy Media’s WISC this coming December 6th.

Thus will come to an end 39 years in local sports broadcasting for Wilson.
“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished through the years and want to make it clear–it’s a resignation, not a retirement!” Wilson said.

Before joining WISC in 2008, Wilson put in 27 years at WKOW across the street and also spent a few years in Milwaukee.
