CBS News foreign correspondent Seth Doane tested positive for the coronavirus, and on Monday reported from his home in Rome where he is in quarantine.
“I started to have a little bit of a cough that worried me,” Doane explained on “CBS This Morning”. “For the most part I feel OK. As we know this is a deadly virus.”
“Honestly I feel like I have had colds and flus worse than this,” he said.
Anchor Gayle King said that six CBS News employees have been diagnosed with the virus, including Doane.
While mostly relocated back to the westside Manhattan CBS Broadcast Center, news programming is being produced this week with minimal staff.
