ABC NEWS DROPS TALKER FOR CORONAVIRUS UPDATES

Instead of the newly-launched “Strahan, Sara and Keke” in the early afternoon, ABC viewers will be getting a daily COVID-19 update to be anchored by Amy Robach.

“Pandemic: What You Need to Know,” featuring the latest health and safety guidance from experts, such as ABC News’ Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

The report will address the widespread issues caused by the global pandemic and offer solutions on how to adjust to a new way of life, from homeschooling to mental health.

The hiatus of “Strahan, Sara and Keke” is said to be only short term.

Which is what they said way back in the day, during the Iranian hostage when executives came up with a nightly program covering the daily developments in that long ordeal.

The program turned into “Nightline,” which is moving back into prominence with the suspension of production of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Execs announced that “Nightline” is moving back into its former 11:35 pm timeslot for the next two weeks – at least.
