Over at the “Today Show,” Al Roker was not going to let a coronavirus-inspired exile from 30 Rock get him down.
Using an iPad to stream himself and a small television screen to show the relevant maps, he did his weather segments from his kitchen.
This was his second day off the set.
He and his “Today” third-hour co-host Craig Melvin were sent home when a co-worker on their segment was diagnosed with coronavirus symptoms.
Neither are displaying any ill effects and Roker even got to sleep in since he didn’t have to commute to midtown Manhattan.
Their return to 30 Rock is open-ended.
