WHEN THE DREAM NO LONGER IS….

Cory Hepola once called the weekend anchor job at Tegna’s KARE in Minneapolis his dream job.

The dream, evidently, is over.

Hepola is leaving the station January 6th.

“All I ever wanted to do since I was eight years old was to be a TV journalist in the Twin Cities,” said Hepola. “But I feel like I accomplished everything I ever set out to do on TV. I’m ready for a new challenge.”

The new challenge is still under wraps because, for the time being, it’s none of your damned business.

Up until October, he’d been co-anchoring weekends with his wife, Camille Williams, who left KARE at that time.
