Sinclair and Dish held separate shredding parties in the past week, tying up some of the last loose ends in Sinclair’s aborted bid to snap up Tribune – which soon will be absorbed into the Borg known as Nexstar.

The two companies had been gathering dirt on each other during the Sinclair-Tribune process, since Dish violently and vociferously opposed the deal while Sinclair was looking for ways to silence and discredit Dish’s objections.

Both Dish and Sinclair filed certifications that the documents had been destroyed to the extent required by a July 2017 protective order by the counsel to and consultants on the deal that got access to them.

So….on the surface….everybody is friends again.
