BACK TO NORMAL LIFE – WHATEVER THAT IS
Six years after leaving her fulltime reporting job at Houston’s KHOU and a little over a year after she signed on as a freelancer with Graham Media’s KPRC, Leigh Frillici once again bid farewell to the airwaves.
“I just finished up my freelance gig at Ch 2 this week,” Frillici posted on Facebook. “What a tremendous run! Loved getting to work with this talented team.”
What with Hurricane Harvey and the Astros in the World Series, she picked a good year to come back.
Frillici, who left Tegna’s KHOU back in 2012 to spend more time with her children, then co-founded UNews Digital, LLC two years later.
The company makes an app for TV stations that, “enables better monetization of digital video and content across multiple platforms while creating a personalized news experience for the viewer.”
