Call this the third go-around for Marysol Castro at Scripps WPIX in New York.

She rejoined the station this week to report for the station’s newly-launched 9 AM news hour.

Castro previously worked as the traffic reporter when the morning newscast launched in in 2001.

She returned to the station as an anchor in 2013.

In between, she worked for ESPN and was a weather anchor at “Good Morning America” and CBS’ “The Early Show.”

She’s also the first Latina female public address announcer for the New York Mets,
